The Boondock Saints

Movie made in 1999. My favorite movie. I have not met anyone who has watched this movie that did not like it. I watched this movie last year and all I can say is "Why have I not seen this movie before now?!?!?!?!?" Granted that I was six when the movie was out, it is also a cult classic. It has very few die hard fans. Not many people have even heard of it, but once you do you tell the world. I told all my friends, and they agree, Best movie E V E R!!!!!1

This is a manly movie. Or I want to say MAN movie. It is about two (HOT) Irish fraternal twins, played by Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus, who go on vigilante killings because they think God told them too. This movie follows Connor (Sean Patrick Flanery) and Murphy (Norman Reedus) MacManus as they go through Boston and kill mob members. They are chased by a very fudgen intelligent, (This guy is super smart) FBI Agent, Paul Smeckler. He is assisted by three cops, Detective Greenly (Bob Marley), Detective Duffy (Brian Mahoney) and Detective Dolly (David Ferry). The two brothers also have a "side kick" Rocco (David Della Rocco) who joins them. With this great cast this movie can not go wrong. It has many great lines and parts that make you laugh. There is even a scene where you sit there with your mouth wide open. (cat..........) They have their own riual where they say a prayer at the end. The stick pennies on their victim eyes. I do not have a favorite part because I love the whole movie. The bar scene where they light a mob guy's butt on fire. When Connor is handcuffed to a toliet and he ripps it off than throws it off the building then jumps off of it. Or when they are fighting in the vents about rope and they fall through the ceiling and kill like 8 people upside down. The only way to describe the brothers is that they are beasts. And awesome. Every one in the movie did awesome. The movie is shot in a cool way. It has the movie but right before the shooting, they cut to afterwards where Dafoes charachter tells you what happened and you see it. This movie is a must see and it is a disappointment that it did not get a theateratrical release.

That was untill Thursday. Last Thursday on March 11, 2010, The Boondock Saints had a 10 year anniversary where they played it in theaters. It also had special features at the end. Can you guess how excited I was???? I did not stop smiling through the whole thing, and even afterwards. I laughed, and so did the whole theater. I liked them. The special features was funny and I am so glad I didnt miss it.

Anyway, the point is that this movie is a must see. A must see. A must own. A must.
